Nice local game, good turnout, although the atmosphere generated in the second half by Dolling alone could not match that of Hemel last year. That was the only disappointment. Why couldn't everyone have gone behind the goal under that little bit of cover and really helped the atmosphere along?

 

Well done to Dolly and the usual crew for making some noise though.

I haven't been able to make an away game since Hemel last season but I do agree, what a fantastic atmosphere that was and it made the whole day so much more enjoyable, despite the last minute goal. How many Rebels travelled today?

Thought it was not more than Hemel last year when i'd say we had 200 or so, i'd say 160-170. A few people not there as well that I thought might be and where was Gilkes?

 

Attendance was 220 and their previous on the opening day was 80.

<img src="/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/alert.gif" alt="" /> hi gary dave here i guess the attendence was good but i feel so we get as many in on sunday check that the date in fixtures is correct as i belive is 31st not 30th. people could go on the wrong day if fast look as i did when we played brook house racing over to hayes on the monday instead of the tuesday and ausemed the date was the same but had changed and had to go twice and pay for mistackes. i do,nt mean to be to quick but apart from a few past problems the website to me has been top ever since and nobody could foolow your steps and news thanks gary. also i feel a bit worid about a double possible sunday date. i booked up a day in whales unsure of sloughs furture or of fixtures and booked as there were few plaices and i did not what to miss yet anther rail trip for booking up to late now i worrie that the date inoctober i think that because of windsor taking preferance the game on i think 5th or 6th october(a sunday) and end up missing one. i payed £25 for that and worid about missing one game purtiuerly a cup one. time will tell good luck on your excelelente top website hopefuly see you wednesday (reserves) if not sunday sorry if a bit comfusing . see you sunday if not wednesday
