They did indeed,but R.P.V. are no pushovers as their win in the Vase,against a good Kent side showed.More alarming is the fall from grace of Chessington over the last few games,wonder if it has anything to do with Danny Bennetts ban,great player on his day.

We could have been out of sight after half an hour but credit to Vale who are better than their league position would suggest.

We were missing our two best players but no excuses this end.

A full week off will help us re-group.

Gate was 68 which was disappointing although it was cold last night.

Still more than we would have got on a Saturday though.
