Parking Ideas

We've been granted permissions, with thanks to the efforts of Roy Matthews, to use the Prince Edward hospital parking area which is only a five minute walk away. This has space not only for coaches, but 250 spaces which will be available to us should we need them.

I think Windsor have done a great job at Stag Meadow....and they have made us so welcome...a credit to non league football cooperation !

WELL DONE WINDSOR AND THANKS........

Thanks to Windsor definitely. They've done a lot of work to their ground since we last visited in 2001, but it severely lacks covering behind the goals. With that it might make it a bit more bearable being there. At the moment, I can't stand us playing there. Would much rather be at Wexham Park, but take the friendliness and hospitality of Windsors staff with us.

You sure you'll have enough time to get to Slough after your after match pizza at Watford, then your pre-match pizza before the Slough game?? <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

KE VII hospital parking

Loads of spaces available (200?) - and it was nearly empty on Sat. It is a 7 minute _brisk_ walk to the ground.

There are barriers to entrance and exit (both were open), and clear notices saying 'for visitors/patients only', so it would be nice to have official confirmation that we can use this car park.

W Great Park parking area

Space for about 20 cars fairly close to the ground (5 mins).

Parking is on the A332, right on the edge of the built-up area.

As we discovered on Sat, it's easiest to find by walking along the cycle track starting from the far end of the football club car park...

...although I appreciate that this information is of little help to someone in a car!

There is space for many, many more cars a little further out of Windsor on the A332, but it's on grass, so probably only suitable for dry weather!

Hope this helps.

Pete
