Hi All

 

I think that the game on Saturday might be more difficult than Daventry's mid table position says.

 

In their last 3 games they have drawn with Hitchin, beat Northwood 4-1 and on tuesday night knocked Brackley town out of the Red Insure Cup in extra time. I think we will need to be on top form to get all 3 points and cannot afford some of the defensive errors which we have seen of late.

 

What are your guys thoughts?

Definately a tough game to come but I am hoping for positive updates on Saturday.

After Daventry's 1-1 draw with Hitchin the comments from the Hitchin forum said that Daventry were a big, strong physical team who seemed intent on intimidating the opposition, were in their faces from the kick-off and at 1-0 were very adept at time wasting especially with the weak Ref that they had.

 

Having said that, Hitchin also said that they were the best team that they have played so far.

 

 

I think some of our players will have to show a lot of restraint on Saturday otherwise we could see a few red cards brandished.
