Top performance by the boys last night against what i thought was a decent Bury side..

 

Our passing and movement was exceptional along with our work rate and tempo.

 

A real team effort and a fully deserved MOTM performance by Jason Hallett. I also thought Healsey and Dobbo were supberb.

 

Worh pointing out thats 3 clean sheets on the bounce for us. Well done to the back 4 and James Russell

 

Also a good Tuesday night crowd of 303, which included a small group of Bury fans.

We played really well last night, a great way to keep those entertained! There were about 30 youngsters under the shed who I've never seen before, and with a performance like that and the cracking atmosphere under there I reckon they'll be back for more!

Two great results for the Island last night !

An excellent performance against a Bury side who I'm sure will finish well in the table.

 

We had a great deal of luck in the first half as Bury missed some good chances but second half we throughly dominated and we could have scored more than the three goals we did.

 

Alex Rhodes was excellent and is proving to be a great signing. Jason came in for James Rowe and had a decent game.

 

Midfield was good with Dobbo and Matt Game playing well and the defence was solid.

 

Decent crowd for a Tuesday night. Not sure where the kids have suddenly appeared from but they helped create a decent atmosphere.
