This is turning in to the Dunc's and Johnno show.

 

I cant thank Dunc's enough for asking me to come to Cove from Ash.

 

Since that day i've become captain, won 2 senior trophies, learnt so much about football on and off the pitch and generally had a fantastic finish to a short football career. Also met some really good lads and some very talented footballers!

 

I was also spared having to play football for a certain person that Dunc's and i know very well. Hence the reason i left Ash.

 

Cove fc is a fine club and 1 day i think i'd like to be given the opportunity of managing them 1 day.

I knew when I asked David to come to Cove what a great attitude he has and its a shame that there are not many like him around, cheers JJ and i will never get fed up with watching that goal it still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

PS: GOOD GESTURE JJ TO GIVE YOUR WAGES @£100 PER WEEK BACK TO COVE.WELL DONE MATE. I JUST WONDER HOW MANY OTHER PLAYERS WOULD DO THAT ? BTW COVE WITH CONTRACT PLAYERS ......WHAT ? LOL

As this is the JJ this is your life thread ill give my little bit.....

 

His goal and MOM performance in the cup final was just rewards for a player who in the 5 years i have known him has given 110% in every game he has played in! I know he has taken some knock backs over the years and has come back strong every time and has got better with age! (not looks tho) ;) Always lead by example on the pitch and does alot more off the pitch than any other captain i have known.

he won't be retiring yet TRS the grass will miss him to much,well he did cover every blade last night.

WATCHED COVE LAST NIGHT. I READ YOU ARE BACK AT COVE AGAIN ? READING BETWEEN THE LINES, I HONESTLY THOUGHT YOU WERE GOING TO RETURN BACK AT ASH. SO DESCRIBE YOURSELF SO I KNOW WHO YOU ARE WHEN I NEXT WATCH COVE PLAY. BEING HONEST DUNCS, I CAN'T SEE WHY KOO WANTS TO PUT ANY COVE PLAYERS ON CONTRACT, SO WOULD BE INTERESTED TO KNOW WHICH ONES ARE, 'COS FROM LAST NIGHTS SHOWING, MY OPINION NONE WERE WORTH IT.........PERHAPS GONE ON CONTRACT TO STOP CAMBERLEY NICKING THEM...LOL !!!

none on contract this season but 2 players were constantly hounded by 2 other clubs last season and thankfully cos they were on contract we didnt lose them. They both contributed heavily in our cup runs last year so it was well worth it.

 

And yes...both now at Covamberley!!
