One of the best pieces of sport on television I have ever seen. Drummond (USA), in one of the 100m heats, twitched in the blocks and should have been disqualified due to a false start.

 

Instead of accepting this like the gimp Linford Christie did in Atlanta, Drummond decided to lie down in the lane due to run in, and not move. Instead, as picked up on a mic, he simply whinged 'I did not move' etc etc. After about 5 minutes, he started walking off, then some random ran up to him and said 'no, go back and run.' So Drummond went back, and waited. And they all waited. And now they've postponed the heat for a later time.

Still haven't got the heat underway, Drummond's been crying and fuming and moaning etc, but has accepted he's not running. The big screen in the stadium showed him crying, and now the crowd are booing every time the starter calls 'on your marks.' Ato Boldon's not bothering 'coz of the noise, and the crowd are still at it. The big screen's showing the Jamaican that was disqualified as well, and it's a farce.
