This game ended 2-2 although how we didn't win is simply beyond me.We must of hit the post 8 times,bar a few times.

Part of the reason we only drew was down to the London FA Side having 2 different sides to our one.

The game was played in 3 periods of 30 minutes with the London FA changing every 30 minutes.

Their goalkeeper who made 4 or 5 top class saves has just been released by tottenham,all i can say is they must have some keepers on their books for him to be released.

Our players played the full 90 minutes bar 3 substitutions and still should of scored 4 in the last 10 minutes.

I really cant speak highly enough about our under 18's who seem to play like arsenal at times.

I shall be over there sunday when they are at home and i would strongly recomend anyone else to go over and see how good they are.

I must also mention our pitch which actually looked like a carpet tonight as it has just been cut and rolled and doesn't seem to have any bad points on it.You will see on Saturday.

Yes, a most unusual match, with three 30 minute periods.

 

And to make it more confusion, the teams did not change ends at the end of the 'first half'.

 

In fact there were two different matches - first half Hornchurch U18 played a London FA U16 team who appeared in yellow and green stripes.

In the second half, as still kicking towards the windmill end, they played another London FA U16 team who appeared in all red.

And for the third half, they again played the team in yellow and green stripes.

Although we are officially an under 18 team we are first year under 18's which means we are basically an under 17 team and this team will be together for 2 years
