Slightly better than Tuesday

I know the opposition wasn't the best and I know once the game was beyond them they perhaps weren't that interested but it's still a great result.

 

First half I thought here we go again and was relieved to see the equaliser go in.

 

The second half performance shows that when Hornchurch pass the ball rather than hoofing it up they can really play. We need to take that confidence into the next games against (no disrespect to Oxley) stronger opposition in the Ryman Premier.

We crashed the jets in the second half. A much needed lift for the lads. Lets move on to our next game with our heads high.

we weren't very good first half,it was as if we thought we would win,so maybe they were right,once we got back into the game we was always going to rack up a good score.

 

 

Special mention goes to romford who spent all of last week telling everyone how they will now go up from ryman one north but could only manage to draw 1-1 at home to crawley green of the same league as our opponents today.

They were of course laughing at us tuesday,deluded mugs,the spurs of non league football

1st half was terrible

2nd half some nice passing play through black and hunt.

It seems to me hunt made all the difference in the centre moving play well and playing a composed game.

well first half was a hangover from tuesday nite,second half great value for money(even though it was only oxhey jets),3 grand better off,can't wait for the draw on monday,nice home draw please,well done to the jets all the same gave us a very uncomfortable first half but totally outclassed in the second half

Good for the club to get the 3 grand,hopefully we can get a nice draw at home tomorrow to get a bit more bunce in the bank

erm, Crawley Green are a league below Oxhey Jets. Oxhey are in the Premier, CG in Division 1.

Romford beat sudbury last week 4-0 away from home,got their knickers in a twist thinking they were now going to p1ss the ryman one north.

Sudbury must of been some scalp seeing as they lost 5-1 away to the mighty Heybridge swifts in the league yesterday

Romford are some team!!!!
