Cant beleive knaphill lost again, isnt that 6 losses now!

Thanks for the support, animal! It is actually only 5 losses in 9 games so far. I really am at a loss to see where we are going wrong, but we are going to have to do something before the season is too old! Maybe put in some lights and a stand would improve the performances, Lets hope so!!!

Looking forward to our first cup forray on Tuesday night at Frimley. Always nice to visit a neighbour and a team thats below us in the league with no points at home so far!!

Dorking 3 Croydon 3

Dorking picked up a point at home to Croydon on Saturday, but Pete Buckland will be disappointed his side did not take home all three points having led three times during the game, only for the visitors to peg Dorking back each time.

Chicks have seen an improved performance level from the team in recent weeks after some heavy defeats in the tail end of August, with Dorking suffering single goal defeats at Chertsey in the league and Molesey in the FA Vase, and Dorking will hope that the improvement will continue in the period ahead as the side look to put more points on the board to steer themselves away from the bottom clutch of clubs. The point maintains Dorking’s spot in 18th spot, just ahead of the relegation spots as no team beneath Dorking picked up any points at the weekend.

The match saw an eventful start to the game. First Luke Reid put Dorking ahead on 7 minutes, his first goal for the club, but Croydon were all square courtesy of an own goal just two minutes later. But on 12 minutes, Dorking got their noses back in front, Martin Waldren scoring his second of the campaign to add to the goal he scored last weekend at Molesey in the FA Vase. In a scrappy remainder of the half, Dorking matched their visitors with neither side adding to the scoreline.

Croydon drew level 10 minutes into the second half, Paul Scott grabbing his first of two goals in the match to make it 2-2. Both sides had chances, but once more Dorking took the lead through Reid on 69 minutes, raising Dorking fans’ hopes that the side could hold on to the lead at the third time of asking to claim their second win of the season. But Croydon were still creating chances, and a tiring Dorknig defence were unable to hold out, Scott matching Reid by also claiming his second of the game with just 8 minutes to play.

Having seen the side concede very late on in injury time at Molesey in the Vase game, Buckland must have felt some frustration that his side had conceded yet again late on, but with Croydon threatening in the closing stages, Dorking at least held on to a point in what was their first draw of the season.

Dorking now face two consecutive league games against Egham Town. The game at Egham, originally due to be played on 15 January, is now brought forward at the league’s suggestion to next weekend, Saturday 18 September, as neither side had a scheduled game due to the original fixture list pitting the sides against teams still in the FA Vase. The following weekend, Saturday 25 September, Dorking then entertain Egham Town in the league.

Dorking FC’s Ladies team made it two wins on the spin with a 3-1 home win at Meadowbank over Littlehampton Ladies Resaerves in a great start to the campaign on Sunday afternoon.

In other club news, Dorking FC’s U18s have learnt that they will face Worthing FC U18s away from home later this month in the prestigious FA Youth Cup, Worthing despatching Walton & Hersham FC’s U18s 5-2 aet. The U18s face Oakwood at home on Wednesday 15 September.

Dorking 3 Croydon 3

As we had no game because no one wanted to play us i thought i would venture over to Dorking.

Very entertaing game and well worth the journey.

Thought Croydon deserved it based on chances.

The Dorking keeper played well and pulled of a "worldy" in the last minute

The Dorking 6 was impressive and scored two good goals.

The referee was good and dealt with things in the right way but there were a few strange decisions against Croydon ?

Good to see Gareth Graham still keeping the ball for fun !

Overall good game and quality burger !

Sandhurst 4-0 Raynes Park Vale

Delighted with this win against a RPV side who I am sure will start picking up points sooner rather than later. We had a bit of luck at 1-0 when the ref appeared to give a penalty against us (definite foul) and then changed his mind and gave a free-kick just outside the box......RPV management none too pleased as you can imagine! Other than that though I thought we deserved the win as we created a lot more chances.

Looking forward to Chertsey at home in the League Cup tomorrow which should be a very tough test, particularly after their great result at the weekend.

76 yr old cb im not sure about im a young looking 32!!

Farnham 1 bedfont sports 2

Very even opening exchanges with farnham really causing there own problems with overplaying in the wrong areas sports had some descent chances as did town then sports cm tommy hedges rode three tackles to score across the town gk !! Lino flagging ref goes over sends off sports cm for stamping in the build up but goal stands! But for a point blank save from sports young gk pat town offered very little real say shots that troubled us , ht 1 up

2 nd half town were in control for long periods due to numerical advantage sports still holding firm an with the occasional break away half chance towm hit the bar an had a goal disallowed for a foul on gk then sports broke a great passing move was finished off by our polish cm lukas town pressed as they had been all half an scored through there skipper beating the 76 yr old cb to the ball game over

1-2 to the sports who were down to 9 men in the las t 15

Hi Steve - We just havent put our chances away and lost a bit of confidence in front of goal - still playing good football but just not turning it into results at the moment. And been punished with the mistakes we have made. Im still confident we will start putting a run together. A little bit of luck wouldnt go a miss either after saturdays goal against Hartley which you can see on KH TV!! 8mins50secs on the highlights!! Shocking goal to concede when your on top!! Nathan is still injured he was on the wrong end of a bad tackle against cobham and is probably out for a few more weeks.

tucks, seems you forget to mention we had both centre forward and goalkeeper carried off???

we were average today and yes officials were poor, i thought you should have had a man sent off and your bench is a discrace to football!!!.

why was your manager in refs room for 10 mins at half time???

he influenced the game and the incident at the end was started by a nasty foul which should of been a red then as our player was on floor he then got kicked in the head. then your idiot centre forward through the ball in his face which sparked the afters!!!

see you in west london for the return!!

by the way how much do u pay for your ground?

id ask for a refund!!!!!!

pitch for this time of year is a discrace!!!!

your winger was good though, other than that your an average team like us at the moment
