ITV have announced today that they are looking to move away from mass rating shows aimed at the lowest common denominator (X Factor, Ant & Dec etc) and start producing some proper stuff. If they do, the Beeb will be able to abandon this tripe and concentrate on the stuff that they do well.

There is a God, Jimi Mistry and Flavia Cacace were voted off the show last night. Whilst I have a lot of time for the sexy Flavia, Mistry comes across as smarmy and arrogant so I think the public saw through him even if he was by no means the worst dancer.

Cantos - Thanks, I'm amazed that Michelle Williams and Brendan Cole lasted as long as they did, they had no chemistry or charisma whatsoever and for a so called pop star Michelle could barely put one foot in front of the other.

Clearly Ann Widdicombe is going to win this freak show. Reminds me of Victorian fairground freak shows like The Bearded Lady etc. Doesn't matter in what order the rest are eliminated.

If it's juicy scandal you're after folks then hold onto your hats, sexy dancer Flavia Cacace is dating her partner from this years show Jimi Mistry. The couple were rightly voted off the show two weeks ago however who would have thought that Mistry, albeit seperated since coldly ending his marriage to wife Meg Leonard four years ago, would have been stunning Cacace's type although she has a history as long as your arm of 'reeling in' wide eyed male partners on the dance show.
