Having looked at the Fixtures, this match has great appeal,so could someone advise me of the nearest train station, and directions to the ground.

Cobham/Stoke D'Abernon station. It is about a 40min walk from the station so would be advisable to get a taxi from there PM me if you want anymore details. I'll be in the stands if you want to introduce yourself.

The Pitch was in excellent condition, but found it hard to believe that the Players had to warm up on an outside surface that in no way resembles the surface they were to play on ,this was the F.A. Cup after all. Both teams got of to a shaky start but Cobham had the first real chance on 15mins when good work by Shane Rideout down the left side, crossed with his right giving Tristan Fontin acres of room, but he blazed it over the Bar.Jurgs McGregor was brought into action after 20 mins with a fine save from Chipstead dangerman Ray Freeman low down to his right.Freeman had already caused problems for Cobham with both Lang and Anderson fouling the winger and receiving a lecture from Ref.Mr Eva.On 24mins a ball over the top of the Cobham defence was pounced on by Kofi Quartey, with loud shouts of Offside from the Cobham back line, but to no avail, as Quartey advanced on McGregor and calmly lobbed the Keeper from 14yds,1-0 Chipstead.Rideout up to this point had been influential in all Cobham's forward play, but never created a clear cut chance for himself. The game was played in excellent spirit by both sides, not a nasty tackle was to be seen.2nd Half overall, Cobham played the better passing football, they had 1 great chance when Scott Day burst through on the right, but his shot was fired wide of the Target. With Cobham pressing for an equaliser,Chipstead broke many times, and on at least on 3 occassions had keeper McGregor to thank for stunning saves at the feet of onrushing Chips players. There were few clear cut chances for either side, but it was committed, entertaining, if not very skilful.A fair result in my opinion, but Cobham did themselves proud.M.O.M. Nick (JURGS) McGregor.
