Official Site Layout Problems

I think that I have finally cracked the problem with the layout in older browsers, such as the footer appearing half way up pages and the images at the sides disappearing behind the footer.

I say 'think' as I have no way of testing it so if anyone who had a problem before still has it, or if it has been resolved, please let me know!!!.

It still amazes me that Microsoft refuse to accept new standards as quickly as the others. This is probably why they have lost 20% of the browser market in the last two years, are miles behind Firefox and will, within a year, be behind Chrome.
