Observer article

Todays Slough Observer has an article on page 8, about inconvenience caused to residents of St leonards Rd Lane, by Slough supporters. the headline is "Rebels kick off sparks row"

On my way to the ground (arriving quite early) for the Marlow match, I saw 2 reporters from the Observer knocking on peoples doors and asking them questions.

So far from it being a row caused by upset residents,as all the quotes were taken before most fans had arrived for the first time, it is obviously a sad piece of muck raking, [***!!***] stirring and make beleive by Greg Martin.

With real news out there, it is a pity that the sad hacks from the Observer have to make up the news. Still, I suppose it saves them from working like the rest of us.

Many of the people who live near Stag Meadow are a right laugh. Not. They bought houses or rent posh addresses near a football ground and then complain like buggery because er football gets played there and people turn up to watch!

Even windsor playing there at home once or twice a week and the odd Sunday kids tournament set them off so Slough Town turning up has probably got them jumping up and down.

Having said all that, I think we owe it to the locals to park properly and not chuck rubbish. Even if the future plans lead to a new home we are probably at Stag Meadow for the forseeable future. Is the local school car park available ?

Should the Observer and any residents not focus their attentions on the owners of the ground for allowing this level for use and a lack of proper parking at the ground.

Or is it sour grapes as Slough has a decent and loyal following!
