Signing and Departure

I have just read on the main site that we have signed Nicky Morgan, which is a BIG plus because I feel we need to get a solid relationship going amongst our defensive 5 this season if we wish to push on.

Unfortunately for us leon has gone to boreham wood.

I haven't been to a 1st team fixture this season, but reading reports it seems as if we have had a good start and a solid team, which also is aided by a good reserve side.

I watched them last night and in patches we played stortford off the park, some sloppy mistakes by both teams for some of goals and a couple of candidates for miss of the season for both teams, but it was good to see players of a high standard performing infront of craig and co who were watching on.

Hello Richard ! Are you back from tour of duties

Yes, it has been a much improved Billericay. A strong manager and players stepping up performances, which has resulted in some entertaining games (well the ones i have seen anyway) .

Like you say good the keeping position is finalised and at least you n me talk the same language on keepers ! :)

Well it's certainly a BIG welcome to Nick Morgan. I bet Wildy hasn't had to look up to too many team-mates before! I thought he had a very solid game on Tuesday and wish him all the best in his Ricay career.

Shame about Leon but once the smart ar*es plastered question marks about whose player he was on the forum, his departure seemed kind of inevitable to me.

Hopefully, we'll look for a similar targetman style striker to replace him and not someone who took a bit more cash to play at a lower level.

Come on you Blues!!

Yes keith things didn't work out how I would

of liked them to, but was an experience.

As for goalkeeping, I hope now we have a keeper that can be a big presence for us, I see him a few times for Braintree last year and he look simple with his game.

With strikers a guy played up front looked lively in the reserve game, not a target man but very quick and Sharp, also the guy who played right wing to start lookes a very tidy player.

I just hope we can keep the squad together for a full season without to many comings and goings, but I

guess at our level it happens.

The manager, in his programme notes indicated that Leon was not permanent and that he would not accept " players who do not wish to be cup tied"

I am afraid that money talks even at this level and at this time of the season there are a lot of " chancers" out there looking for a few quid more. Not that I am suggesting that Leon falls in this category.
