Great footage TRS as usual.

Thought the bad lea sending of looked a bit harsh ?

Was that a straight red ?

I spoke to the player (Rob Westall) on his trudge back to the dressing room, Ref apparently deemed it denying an obvious goal scoring opportunity

Thought the Ask GK was harshly sent as well. The BL player had actually got his shot away before the collision so it wasn't as though the GK had taken him down whilst the player went round him, or denied him a goalscoring opportunity.....I wouldn't have been happy! Although the Ash player almost sqaring up to the ref was lucky as that could have seen him walk also!

I will try again.

I did not understandy why only 5 or 6 minutes were added to th egame. Surey the Chess number three had 2 sessions of 3 mins each on his back, then the goalie/full back injury near the end of 2 mins, six subsitutions and heap of other niggling delays which seemed be let go by the ref. It was a shame the game fell to bits after Chertsey scored there goal because, from a neutrals point of view, it was boiling up nicely for a grand finale but we were short changed. I doubt that more than 25 - 30 minutes of football was actually played in the second half.

Guessing its that old addage about things evening themselves out, we have conceeded two goals to chertsey over the last two seasons in added time that nobody could understand where it came from. One in about the 98th minute a penalty in a cup game at Chalky lane i remember being really dissapointed with that one there cant have been more than 3 mins stoppage in that game, i seem to remember another late late 95th minute winner in the league for Chertsey at chalky lane last season was it 4-3 ? So if things do even out i think you still owe us one !!!.

Chertsey might owe you one but not me, but I did hear some whinging about the time matter on the evening from the home camp but, of course, nothing about prevous meetings. Three wrongs don't make a right though

I'm a bit like your average fancy dan player NG, all nice stuff and tricks while the sun is shining! We'll see what happens when the winter weather starts to close in :)

Don't think you've forgotten anyone - on a regular basis anyway.

Purple - to be fair, the opening exchanges were slightly more in your favour and you caused us problems. The 4-3-3 system put us under pressure - not too sure if Shelton enjoyed the wide role! - and you hit the bar at 0-0, so it could all have been different had that gone in. We scored from nothing with a decent long range free kick that your keeper may feel he should have done a bit better with, then got a penalty that was correctly given to go 2-0 up. Up to half time we were more comfortable but, as I told the lads at half time, you certainly looked like you had a goal in you and that was the case quite early on in the second half for 2-1. For a while we were rocked by this but regained the 2 goal cushion with a great finish out of nothing and it then set us up for a really good spell of football and our lads started to enjoy the evening. When Sam Lampard got the goal everyone wanted him to get you knew it was going to be our night and we finished the game off in style. You seem to have some decent lads in your squad, so maybe it will turn. This time last year (9th September) you beat us 3-2 at your place and we went second bottom and things looked grim. A few changes to personnel, nothing major, and a bit of belief were enough to help turn things round. Problem is, the league is now much tougher and you will get no easy ones, so nothing is guaranteed. Anyway, that's a brief and, hopefully honest view of proceedings. Next stop - Ash!

Thanks manager50. Good report. Even matched up more or less with the official report on our Match Reports Forum!

Ash Utd 3-3 Badshot Lea

Cracking game, especially second half. 6 goals, 2 penalties, 2 red cards. Where to begin to edit that lot!

I thought it was 3 reds?

You're right it was, 2 for Ash and one for BL.

Just watched this one. I thought the red card for Fish was very harsh. Pen yes, yellow card at most. The striker had already got his shot away.
