Why won't teams play us ?

Maybe someone can shed some light on the below .

This Saturday our fixture against Bag lee has been postponed due to Godalming being at home in the FA Cup.

Bad Lee approached us to play Friday night but as we have a game on Wednesday we felt this would be unfair.

We offered to play them on Saturday at our ground which they have flatley refused ? Why

We then appraoched Bookham to play us who also have no game.

They have also refused ? Why

The following week we have no game due to Horley's commitment in the vase?

We are trying to re arrange this one but again are coming up against a brick wall.

Two weeks after that again due to cup games we also have no Saturday game.

We are again stuck in the same situation.

The league claim they are powerless to do anything unless teams are given 3 weeks notice for a re arranged fixture.

This is absoulutely ridiculous. Surely a weeks notice is more than exceptable ?

At this rate we will end up like last year playing 4 games a week at the end of season.

This is something that needs to be addressed otherwise we will end up playing 3 games in a month.

Not good !

Steve Regarding your post, to be honest with you I wouldn’t switch grounds unless the return could be switched, also B Lea & Bookhan may have injury problems at mo, iam sure if you couldn’t field a full side you would do the same.

THAT'S A LAUGH STEVE, BADSHOT LEA DON'T HAVE THEIR ''OWN'' GROUND SO CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT THE DIFFERENCE IS IN PLAYING AT GODALMING OR EGHAM ! WORD OF ADVICE, TELL YOUR PLAYERS NOT TO PLAY WELL AGAINST BADSHOT LEA OTHERWISE YOUR PLAYER MAYBE TAPPED-UP EH DOBO ! PERHAPS THAT'S BADSHOT LEAS METHOD OF WINNING GAMES HA HA ! ..... BUT THEN AGAIN EGHAM ARE PROBABLY PAYING THE PLAYER THE SAME AMOUNT ANYWAY ..... LOL !
