The EFM party

I think pub closing hours are more of an issue - not anymore as they will not be applicable!

No pub which applies for a extenstion will have it turned down on the grounds of local residents, you live near a pub therefore you know it's there and it's a vital part of the local community therefore should be embraced.

Also, I think vowing to reduce council tax by 50% wouldn't harm our chances of being elected. And then, once we're in, we'll double it!!

We could abolish it, then when elected replace it with the Golden Brick Tax - which can smash through your income like nobodys buisness <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

And to encourage local support for SACFC, we could insist that Gibson reduce the prices to a fiver, and make sure everyone in St Albans has to go to at least five games a season.

Also, with the Golden Brick tax, we could afford to buy the club off Gibson, and run it ourselves.

We could rename it St Albans EFM.

School field trips to places like Museums should be outlawed and replaced with away trips to Ryman league games, on trains!

Every citizen should have to swear on St.Alban that everything they do will be in the best intrests of the City.

Commuters that don't plough money into our pubs (ie the ones that just sleep here and go to London) will be given a "St.Albans Commuter Dormitory tax"

I'd like to see a few more pubs in the town. I've read that one or two are having problems with the current council. I cannot believe local residents concerns over vomit and urine outweigh the need for convenient opening hours that suit the late night binge-drinker.

I want to clean the streets of drug dealers too. I believe the place for drugs is in the pubs. Why should these people get wet in the winter, hanging around in the rain.
