More as less the same team as you suggest Urchino, however, I'd stick with Rolly at left back. Locke out the team, whoever replaces him would do a better job, so yes, Cowley centre mid. I wonder though if the Vinny and West a too similar together up front? For the time being I'd stick with the front two pairing of Taff and Vinny that finished last season in such good goal scoring form.

You could be right about Vinny and West i suppose time will tell, one thing we seem to agree on is that Vinny should play, i wouldn't mind seeing Andy Findlay getting a start though. Agree totally about the other Centre Midfield place normally i would want Gav in their but the next best option for me was Barry or Danny.

PS:- One thing i didn't mention the other day was how much commitment Jamie Southon, Scott Gooding and Jonah show if only certain (not all) other player(s) did.

I'm not expecting too much from the first few games. Firstly, this looks like being a much harder league than the Division One North that we just came out of. Secondly, over half the team didn't play together last season, it will take time for players to adapt to the style of play and the change of division. Now whilst that wasn't really a problem last season, I think we need to bear in mind the quality of the opposition that we were playing then. I think that these first games need to be a quick learning experience for us. Personally, I don't expect anything out of tomorrows game, might sound defeatest I know, but like I say, the team is learning the ropes. I don't think there will be many complaints if we lose our first 3 games, then go on a 10 match unbeaten run! That's my view on things at least, patience is needed!

Agree 100%, the expectation was built too high, players need to settle in and gel as a team. In a weird way it helps for us to be playing against Kettering, it's a match where no one can seriously think that we are favourites to win. We have a chance to really play good football because 3 losses arn't a disaster (look at Canvey last season)but 3 losses and playing poor football is. Kettering will bring alot of fans and will excpect to win the match the lads have got to go out their and prove the doubters wrong not because we have money but because we have a fantastic squad of excellant players. So lets get behined the team and end up losing our voices show Kettering that it is an intimadating ground to come to and that this is not a "Poxy Team" in a "poxy league".
