I think there is only one place to watch proper football this Tuesday but I fear there will be far more people in the high street milling about wearing their overpriced England strips and playing their part in the con that is now Premier League and International football! Sad really.

think i'll give the players who turn up and walk/run around for england a miss too. I bet some of them wished they had never been selected just so they could have "another" holiday in the sun !! Yep , england players have got some way to go before the massed public (imo) warm to them again . Ive seen more passion in a fruit !

Hope we got a good crowd last night - for those who are interested, in the pub where I work every Tuesday running the quiz, which doesn't show Sky Sports, we lost two regular teams containing keen Ricay fans who were presumably at New Lodge, whilst amongst the seven teams in the quiz were at least three who i was very surprised to see, expecting them to be glued to Sky elsewhere. Clearly the lure of Town's first Tuesday game of the season was greater than England's first competitive Tuesday fixture !!!
