Thanks for letting us borrow your keeper! He was pretty good today (our regular stopper is suspended for 3 matches) and made 1 particularly brilliant save to keep our lead in tact before we went on to win 3-1 at Haringey Borough.

Understood Ricky is with you guys for 2 games. Very good keeper and hugely unlucky not to be in our side this season. Really was nothing to pick at the start of the season as to if he was our number one, or our current number one Jamie Jackson.

Must admit it was pretty confusing when Jacko was dual registered with Flackwell Heath which would normally mean he was our second choice keeper only to find that Jacko was our first choice keeper :bigshock:

indeed everything in preseason pointed to Perks being our number 1. he started almost every friendly and like you say Reading Jacko signed elsewhere dual registration. so little between them though all their weaknesses and strengths balance each other out tbh

Yes, nothing between them, they both have stengths and weeknesses.

For me one of Jacko's weeknesses is his dead-ball kicks which was highlighted yesterday.

From goal-kicks Dean Bull was clearing 3/4 of the pitch and straight away putting our defence under pressure, as opposed to Jacko who was bearly making the half-way line with the ball being nodded straight back into our half again putting our defence under pressure.

I suppose having a dodgy back doesn't help with his kicking.

Dean Bull, good keeper that he is, also let in two through his legs! I'll take shorter goal kicks and an otherwise excellent performance from Jacko!
