Croydon 1 - Wembley 1

Very improved performance by the Trams today. Denver MacKenzie opened the scoring 29 seconds into his début. Croydon deserved the point and should have really sewn the game up.

The ref was good, only made two mistakes all game, one was the sending off of MacKenzie after an 18 man bust up. The Wembley #4 went for violent conduct and quite rightly so, but MacKenzie was on the edge and didn't actually do anything. Wrongful ID me thinks. The other mistake was not booking Wembley's Ian Bates. His constant moaning and shouting at the ref and doing anything to get players booked was a shameful display.

The Wembley keeper was good, and kept them in the game on a number of occasions, as did the crossbar.

Yep a good day at the Arena.

Well done Trams and match officials.

Egham 3 Epsom and Ewell 1

A deserved win for Egham who put in a good all round performance compared to our teams poor one.

BUT ( and I know both teams were guilty of this )

As Smudge says above the level of moaning by players of both sides on the Egham side club officials towards a referee whose only errors was leniency and a desire to keep the game flowing was utterly dispiriting . The idiocy of some of the comments from the sidelines was jaw dropping .

Also a comment from the Egham 5 when a poorly cleared punch from the keeper lead to our penalty was very disappointing re people properly smashing through their opponents was particularly disappointing .

I don't mind losing ... I'm used to it by now but seeing that kind of thing week in week out is going to get quite tiresome

Only 3-1 !!!

BAKER OUT I SAY

;)

Side splittingly funny. We await with baited breath someting equally pertinent from "sarnie 'supporter'". As for eefc supporter's comments about comments made, I cannot comment (yes, I did write that). I was only concentrating on our best performance at home against Epsom & Ewell in absolutely ages. Had I ahd the guts to predict a score it would have been, at best. 1-1. We wish they had stayed at Banstead, cos that would've (probably) meant another three points for the mightly Sarnies - our record at Merland Rise must be among the best in the division. This is another instalment in my "hostage to fortune" series, dear reader...

Well done for finding some results. It's 8.50pm and there's nothing on the useless FA.com site, or if there is then it's hidden away nicely. Shockingly bad site, but hardly a surprise from that incompetent lot.

Sheerwater 1-1 Eversley.

Felt we did enough to win. Our captain scored from a free kick a yard inside the opposition half for second week running. Eversley equalised with 8 minutes to go.

Wolfman: What do you make of that??? Still think he is poor?
