What would you like to see in the programme?

What is it doing right?

What is it doing wrong?

What do you want to see more/less of?

 

I hope to gain a lot of valuable feedback for the content of the programme to feed back to it's current editor, and see if we can make it more value for money, and improve it's content all round if possible.

 

Any feedback, either on here or direct to me (gary@sloughtownfc.net) would be greatly appreciated.

lets have 10 questions to each player over a season

1 whats your most memorable match

2 whats your most forgetable moment in a match

3 where do you want to be next season

so on and so forth

 

just so we can get a little insight into the players and manager

stst comments if not too controvercial

The stst/stsa page is currently being written by myself, but covers away game info or other junk at the moment. It will develop and evolve throughout the season...

Just a few suggestions :

1. How about articles interviewing former players concerning their time at Slough. (i.e. Trevor Bunting)

2. I always used to enjoy reading Mal Keenan's pyramid round-up.

3. A Div 1 South form guide perhaps highlighting the form of the next opponents.

4. Information on players who played for Slough and the opposition of the day.

 

I must add that I continue to find the matchday programme an excellent read and value for money which is more than can be said for most of the clubs we play at this level.

How about the actual team line-ups as an insert, printed on the day?

PJ, as the announcements of the line ups does not have to be made until 30 minutes before kick off, to print off 200 odd A5 pages would be quite difficult!

I would like to see

 

Pen pictures of the new playes, both playing history and personal profile

 

Or/and a weekly pen picture of a player

 

An up to date list of injuries, so we know who is out and who is out of favour

 

Managers feedback, how he viewed the match why he made a substitution.

Well done to all...the programme will miss , Steve cumbers ...ramblings at the tea bar....

 

Hope Steve can still manage a page or two through the season..

 

I hope maybe we can keep views for the past few years and maybe some future hopes will come clearer in the next 2 weeks !!!!

 

Not to much delving into the past...thats History and some articles need this ... but not all the time.....

 

Reserve news and the players in the reserves should also be mentioned... pen picture of them would be interesting....
