Kingstonian vs Margate

Basic report - Margate played VERY well - Officials were atrocious - Once again, Kingstonian were very lucky and got their goal on the break way against the run of play. Gutted, we should have slaughtered them :-(

Always good to hear that we played well but being unlucky isn't getting us points on the board. This is getting to be a concern. Points make prizes & we need to play well AND take some points otherwise before we know it we'll be down there fighting for survival again (Or are we there already & in a very familiar position I see).

No real panic of course just yet but a win is definately needed sooner rather than later. We need to be more ruthless & more on target & get the wins we seem to be deserving.

Kingstonian were nothing special and we really did play well. We should have had a penalty late on but the Kings keeper kept them in the game when we really pushed.

Bring on Aveley and Binfield!!!

Really did dominate the game - IOC's comments tell you all you need to know. I'd even go as far as to say we had 5 golden chances, not to mention half chances. If we had been more prolific in front of goal, could easily have won 4-0. They had one chance and buried it. Hard to take, but very encouraging performance. Don't be downbeat lads - if we play like that week in, week out, the results certainly will come. Good chance to bounce back on Tuesday - three points would be a welcome boost.

I was surprised-but pleased to see Keister get a game.

Not going to play every week-and frankly-we are in trouble if he has to-but with injuries and suspensions-he will be needed to probably contribute on the field in about 10/12 games i reckon-so hope he did ok and was reasonably fit ?
