After all these years it looks as though we may be doing something right! After losting players like Richardson and Asamoah to league clubs for nowt it seems we have got the right idea and have got both Matt Miller and Danny Steer on 2-year contracts and now it seems we are trying to do the same with Booty, Alex Haddow and Alan Foster.

Seriously, the logic that follows is that the contract players who might attract offers stand most chance of being paid - watch out the others!

Jeez Roge, you know me too well! <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> As Roge implies, it's all fair and well putting them onto contract, but if the club doesn't honour their side of the agreement, the player can walk away for nothing anyway ala Sammy & Booty last season.
