Jurgs and Manager 50 got me thinking about days gone past in Football at Non League level.When Players and Supporters post match, used to stay for a couple of hours having a Drink and a chat together,about many different things.Clubs used to benefit from the Revenue gained and a good camaraderie was built up.Nowadays Players are totally different ,eat the Free Food,have a Lucozade,collect their Money if they are paid,and then leave.I personally think the Standard of Football was much better,even if the Players were probably not as fit.Mascots were the order of the day at most games,photos and a kick about on the Pitch at places like Aldershot,Kingstonian,Woking, for my Grandson and the Junior Players at Croydon Athletic were a norm not a rarity.GREAT DAYS.never to be repeated I feel.
