Marcus mentioned this on Saturday, as it is early in the season we will be doing a combined vote for August and September. Not sure which game we will do the votes but it will be posted on here and the result will be on the website. Normally a bottle of champagne presented at the next home game after the vote.

 

Chris would be a good shout, had a cracking start to the season to follow up his excellent form in the run in last year. Lots of contenders though.....

even despite his red card at Hitchin Seeby has been awesome for us since joining the club in general. really top notch signing that was though at times is an unsung hero i guess due to defenders not getting much attention (until they do something wrong of course)

 

as said though theres a fair few choices which can only be a good thing

 

going back to the original post, does the existing player of the month have a sponsor of sorts?? if not its something to think about even if to bring a small amount more cash to the club

I just thought it might be a good idea to have a sponsor who could present an award at the end of the month, who has donated something to the club. I run my own decorating business and I would be prepared to start the ball rolling? over a season it could bring more money into the club.

The Supporters Trust will be running a sponsored Player of the Month award this season.

 

Sponsorship of a POM award will cost £20.

 

The Trust will buy a bottle of champagne, that will then be presented to the winning player by the person(s) sponsoring that month.

The sponsor(s) will also be given a photo of the presentation.

 

Please see Mike or another member of the trust board (myself, Alan Harding, Mark Hunter, Lionel, Sue) if you wish to become a POM sponsor.

Hi Glen thank you for your message I will be at the next home game cant make tomorrow although chris is suspended anyway due to a hitchin forward falling over! I will come and find you and we will have a chat
