A decent game once i found The Terence McMillan Stadium came in from the Prince Regent station (Docklands train) and walked up Prince Regent Lane right up till the Castle pub.

 

Asked once or twice nobody could help tried behind the fire station then somebody in the school told me it was the running track next to Newham Leisure Centre plenty of signs for that on Prince Regent Lane walked past it the first time. Still once i got there no signs to say who plays at the Stadium or to say a game was on just a temp put up around 13.30.

 

Sorry Canning Town you asked for the locals to turn up today (on your web site) yet you made no attempt to help yourselfs no decent catering put on tea & coffee only this was your big day yet you let yourselfs down.

 

Even Wodson Park had to ask outside the Leisure Centre they where in the right place.

AFC Dunstable 1-2 Tring Athletic

 

Tring managed to progress into the next round,but only just !!! a great crowd of over 200 saw Dunstable control the first 25-30 mins,scoring a goodt goal for a deserved 1-0 lead .Tring managed to claw there way back into the game when Ryan Redford slipped the ball under the keeper from close in !! 1-1. this seemed to lift Athletic and it was Nick Jackson who cracked in a 25 yard screamer just before half time 1-2

The 2nd half was a very tight affair,with dunstable pushing tring back into their own half for long periods,Mike Underwood in the Tring goal making some good saves,Tring missed a good chance to wrap the game up,the AFC keeper pulling off a great double save !!!! Tring managed to hang on for the last few minutes to reach the last 64 for the first time in there history !!

A huge thanks to Simon Bullard and the Dunstable Committee for looking after all from Tring,and with that side,it wont be long before they are playing premiere division football

Not SSML but St Neots Town who have been beating teams by 5+ goals for most of the season at unsurprisngly 1/5 to beat ESL Burnham Ramblers (8/1) at home. Ramblers only won once in the league away from home at Clapton who are bottom of the table. St Neots won 11-0 in the last round!!! If i had the money and more importantly the nerve i'd sling £2,000 on a home win to win £400. Nothing is ever certain though!!!

Should of had £2000 on St Neots.... They won 6-1 and were 2-0 up inside 5 minutes (1-0 in the first 20 secs)..................

 

A good afternoon for the Spartan sides with only Aylesbury United getting knocked out.

 

Dunstable Town, Levvy Green, Royston Town*, CSP*, Stotfold and Tring Ath all in the hat now. *if they win replay.....Royston have to get a victory at Victory Road.
