Swearing - The article

It's been interested getting the views on everyone on the 'Swearing' thread.  It's much appreciated.

My thoughts:

Now, this features a CCFL referee who I felt did really well at clamping down on swearing.  I would agree that this seems to be rare.  But as our beloved Kroons said in the other thread... everyone has to have a go at sorting this out for anything to happen. I must admit I have been pleasantly surprised when a manager has complained to us after a game.... but 'just' about the swearing!  Nice that they care though, isn't it?

What do you think?

Mewcenary, you quote our beloved Leader Krooner who we all respect, well I do anyway. He now logs the games he officiates at,and with the season now being 6 games in he has had 2 Assists, this is in line with a policy I think that the C.C.L. Referees Secretary is adopting,up to last weekend 28 different Referees had been used in Premier Fixtures, the maximum any One Official had done was 2 games, but only 9 Referees had this pleasure. So how are they supposed to strike up a rapport with Assistants, who are probably being used in the same way.Match Fitness can only be attained by Officiating,is 2 games a month enough,I think not. C.C.L. should look at this issue urgently,Along with the Groundsharing issue, have they sorted out with the Ryman League these issues,or are Teams to be left in limbo, these matters need to be sorted now.We have a Premier League and a Div 1 at the best standard in terms of Grounds,Players,as the F.A. Cup has shown.Time to bring the Officials on board, with an elite list.

Smudgey the reason for not many games is due entriely to my availability. I am never full available until the 2nd Saturday in September. I can tell you that my number of games will increase over the next month. I used to do around 60 games a season but with other commitments is now down to around 40 a season. I am available to the CCL in 3 different capacities so obviously will not rack up a lot in one form and not the others.
