Windsor v Didcot

Disappointing result today. Really not to sure on this keeper! Thought Didcot were only average and these are the games we need to win. With Rob Bullivant in goal i think we would have got something out of this game. A good goalkeeper feeds so much confidence through the rest of the team. How long is it until Rob is fit again? We also need to keep the ball on the floor more instead of pumping long balls forward only for their defence to just keep heading it clear. We have some decent players at the club cabable of so much better!

Preddie has made some terrific saves, top notch in one on ones, and he's very brave going in where it hurts, but his weakness seems to be anything that involves judgment of a bouncing ball. Which is a problem!

He's shaky but nowhere near as bad as people are making out.

As I said at the Meadow this afternoon, when Predders doesn't have to think about what to do he is good. An instinctive sort. But what has made me think more about is the condition of the goalmouths. Is his inability in the air something to do with the underfoot conditions? That said, both Didcot's goals should have been prevented.

Delroy is a good shot stopper which he has proved over the games I have seen so far this season but coming for crosses and corners there is a glaring weakness which not only Didcot but the other teams so far have exploited this season. If we had Bully in goal those goals may have been prevented but he wasnt so we can not really know for sure. I for one hope he is back sooner or later as I believe that we will be stronger and more composed defensively and in turn may prove not to let in soft goals like we did today I would be dissapointed if MY

..... sunday team conceded those goals. Didcot were not that great and see no reason why we will stuggle but we do need to stop conceding sloppy goals and need to hold the ball better. Have to agree that the ball needs to be played on the floor more as with these long balls upfield are not going to be held up by Chenns and Jemal they are not target men. They need the ball into feet or through balls to run on to!! I think we need a big target man someone similar to the Didcot no.9 he caused us problems all game with his height and strength if we had someone similar then the ball may not come back as much as it did today. One last thing anyone know what has happend to the left back bernard no seen him anywhere near the squad since pre season.
