A goal 12 minutes from time by Danny Charge gave us a win in a tight contest dominated by both teams defences. Neither goal keeper made any saves of note but Jones was the busier dealing with crosses from corners,free kicks and centres. O'Rawe was a surprise choice on the right wing with Modeste only coming on near the end and,I suppose Kouassi was injured. I thought Collis had a good game in mid field and I was surprised to see him substituted during the second half,although his replacement,Matt Hall, also played well. I hope there is no truth in a rumour I heard that Leon is only actually on a month's loan from Bromley.

I was under impression that signed meant signed and not on loan.

 

Anyway, a good result. Well done to the lads. 7th in the league and three points off the leaders...and we play one of those this coming Saturday. Junior is available to play, which gives us another option down the wings.

Was a tight game with not many openings but i thought we shaded the game on posession . Canvey probably had the clearest of chances especially in the first half but the old cliche of "we took ours" comes to mind .. Now , i do believe Charge has got quite a skill in shooting across the keeper .

 

I guess management and supporters must be pleased with a 4 point return over the bank hol games and zero goals conceded is very pleasing , so well done to all .

 

Obviously we will lose games but as long as the work ethic is still there then i feel we have quite a capable team .

 

Dont think Russells tango kit was a winner on the cat walk though

Well done to the lads. A good and important win with a couple more tough games coming up. Two games missed, two wins - I am still available to be paid off to miss games!!

 

As Bromley have managed to win 6 on the spin without Leon, I can't see any reason why he won't be staying here for a while, which is good news for us I think.

 

Looking foward to Sutton on Saturday, hopefully we'll be the first team to score against them this season!!

???.... a player can't play at our level unless he has signed the relevant forms to do so, a club found to have used an unsigned player is deducted points.

Ok,but what does signing really mean? Had Jones signed also? It makes it hard to think about sponsoring players if there is low expectation of them playing for the season.
