Southill Alexander FC vs Blunham

This Wednesday will see another big game for Southill Alexander FC, when they take on current Bedfordshire County Football League Premier Division Champions Blunham. Both teams started off the season in winning style, with Southill's 3-1 win against Caldecote and Blunham's 9-3 demolition of Dunton. Both teams are expected to be contenders for the League this season.

Southill Alexander 1-4 Blunham

 

Tonight, Southill Alexander were looking to get 3pts against Bedfordshire County Football League Premier Champions Blunham. However, Blunham were on form and won the battles on the pitch, with their quick and aggressive play. The only consolation for Southill Alexander was Rob Teppet's strike. Thus, Blunham got their revenge on last season's fixture when Southill Alexander won this fixture 6-1, that delayed Blunham from winning the league title on that date.

 

Southill Alexander now have to gather themselves and focus on their upcoming debut in the FA Carlsberg Vase match at Eton Manor this weekend.
