Wayne's goal fortunate Andy??? If you had been down that end you wouldn't have said that, the guy got the pass from Osborne, looked up and saw Walker off his line and curled a great shot over him! Well done to him I say, I do agree that Marsden played well yesterday though.

Perhaps I worded that statement wrong, what I meant was that it was "fortunate" that we equalised from WWs goal as I didnt actually see him hit it from where I was standing so not bemoaning WW at all. :)

Agree that Curtis made two great interceptions (and i thought Curtis played better when he switched to centre back)

Happy with the point-you never know what will happen in these derby/bank holiday games.

I don't think we were quite as dominant as suggested-but obviously the better team.

Decent work in progress i would say ,and we willl be comfortable this season.

Similarly thought Ishmail lloked a real threat in his 15 minutes

I think you have put it more succinctly than me CE-yep they did have a few chances.

Whilst frankly Cloke is obviously a better central defender that robinson-i thought we looked more secure in defence (apart from osbornes lapses on the left) when we switched to 4-4-2 after cloke left the field.

Cloke, osborne and ball are all good defenders-but with just 3 across the back-there seems too much space for the oppostion-as above-we looked alot sounder playing 4-4-2 to me;then you also had Grant to cover Lacy .

Robinso and lacey are just too far forward in 3-5 -2 for more-and lose some effectiveness by being in the middle of nowhere-not their fault but whilst the playing personne lends itself to 3- 5-2-it just does not seem to work

Sams a good player but I really can't see what Osborne has done wrong.(overall)

Once on Saturday he goofed & and thanks to Robinson he got away with it. Held onto it too long I agree. His fault!. On another occasion the keeper gave him no chance. In all the matches that I've seen him play this season he has been a "rock" at the back. Steadying things when the likes of Ball & Cloke stray up front. Without him at the back we would be lost though I admit Groombridge would be equal to the task but having spoken to Sam on Saturday he is still some way short of match practice/fitness though Im sure he would like to get out there a.s.a.p.

I tell you what, take Osborne out of that back line right now whilst overall his form is solid & we will lose matches for sure. My opinion of course & I listen to others opinions but really,he is not a weak link & has overall been consistently good. Look elsewhere is my reply if you want improvement. We can't afford to lose his experience, cool head & normally exceptional play at the back right now.

p.s I'll pick up the cheque later Tommy.. ;):)
