Where's the passion ?

It is of course too early to panic.Two games against two very good teams so,in retrospect two defeats is not the huge shock people are making out.

However defeat is one thing,defeat without showing any passion for battle is quite another.

Where is the team spirit that was so evident last year.We can only hope that McGowan,Vinnie John,Chris Moore are soon back on board two of whom have been unavailable for different reasons.

There is no doubt that there have been some good

signings.Why not try the Doctor Finlay in central midfield.Goodness knows we need some creativity there or give Danny Cowling another try.

West looked good in defence but whats all that about..we have plenty of good central defenders !

As for the left side.Lets have one left back and be done with..choose Rowland or Martin or Kimble

and play McGowan in front of them.

Rowlands had a nightmare but its only one game,he still looks a good signing.

I feel a bit sorry for George Borg.Its a difficult situation.90 per cent or more supporters didnt want to see Mick Marsden go.Its not Borgs fault that he did and he is therefore on a hiding to nothing.

I took encouragment by the fact that george Borg was prepared to act decisively at half time.He took a difficult but absolutely right decision in taking Locke off..mind you,when you are chasing a game how putting the person most likely to get you a goal back in central defence

is puzzling to us as supporters.

Lets hope the spirit returns and lets all get behind George Borg.As long as no player gets to wear the shirt by reputation rather than effort

then all will be well in the end.

At least we have a nice easy game for saturday.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
