Well I would probably have taken a point before the game but left feeling slightly disappointed that we didn't take all three given that we dominated for long spells.

 

It will be interesting to hear if Craig's selection was influened by the Amazonian rainforest pitch as i don't think we could have put out a bigger xi (in every sense!!) if we had tried.

 

The first half was pretty forgettable but we still had the best chance when McKenzie was put through and shot wide. We were much better in the second half and it was pretty much one way traffic but unfortunately we didn't have our shooting boots on today. Never mind a point's still ok.

 

Thought Croydon Ath were very average especially considering there had been a bit of hype around them. On this week's evidence they are miles behind the Ks.

 

A new ground, a point gained away from home - happy with that. Be nice to get three points Monday though.

Twas nice to visit a new ground and would have been better to have seen a better football pitch but i suppose they had to suffer the long grass as much as we had to.

 

i thought (personally) it was like old times in the first half with us just shading it but the second as JL says was a much better performance all round.

 

171 has to probably be one of the lowest gates i have seen since going to watch BTFC play at Leyton, In fact i believe we had more than that pre season.

 

Nice to have a pint with some of their supporters in the bar afterwards and i wish them luck when the go to visit the islanders (bring yer boot's)

 

A point's a point but again as JL says let's hope to have all three on Monday.

Well done to those who managed to negotiate the Bank Holiday traffic to make the game! A few eyebrows raised when the team was announced but overall we were the better side. Wild unlucky to see his header come back off the post and McKenzie on another day would probably have stuck one of his chances away. A good point but disappointed it's not three at a "get in, get something, get out" sort of a place. Bring on the scumbags!
