Hi all, whilst on holiday in Turkey recently, i got chatting with a fellow Brit. After a short conversation he turned out to be none other than Steve Oliver the E's captain of the early 80's and the man who lifted the F.A. Trophy at Wembley against Alty. He was telling me how hard he had tried to get footage of our F.A. Cup giant killing games which he played in, that were covered by the various television programs to show his children. I have tried to contact Laurence Hughes for some advice but had no response. I know various long standing supporters had video footage as did my dad who unfortunately lost his. Just wondered if anyone could help in any way and make Steves day, Gary P

The FA Cup match at Barnsley was certainly shown on Match of the Day but whether BBC Archives still have the tapes and would be willing to copy them is a different matter......
