i dont know bout that 1 paul. I agree it will be a tight game. We really need to sort out the defence. And the corners weren't up to scratch. And if i my memory servers me right i think all of the free kicks infront of goal went into the wall(I think we had 3) When will JJ be back?

Prediction:

2-1 Hayes

I went to see Billericay play their last game last season and i saw their first home match against Hitchin Town this season.

I thought last season against Hampton (i think), 'ricay looked slow and slugish with little movement. But this time they looked sharp and fast up front, and i like that guy out on the left, marlyn/marlon i think. fast and skillful.

I might go and watch the hayes match, and do think ricay will win.

Watch for Hays, if they take the lead early on they start playing for time. They did this after around half an hour and it proved to be quite a dull afair because of it. I know this play is expected towards the end of a game if a team is in front, but 30 mins into the first half!?!?

Your 16 deserved a red card too - dirty player. Has he actually trained since Christmas because it certainly didn't appear that way to us!

Who was no.16 Shane Demetrious the one who scored mmm hmmm. Well if it was him then he is a reserve team player from last season so he has trained but not as much as utha guys and isnt really used to this tandard of football LMU. and our Hayes always play for time but normally teams such as canvey and hendon and more experienced teams score because we r crap in defence but obviously Urchins ent that gr8 at scoring

LMU, that's the nature of it I'm afraid. Teams will do that, 'specially if you're worrying 'em. It ain't right and it ain't pretty but if ya wanna play football in this league, ya gotta get physical first. The teams that play football will always get "mugged" by those that are short on talent. We have our hard men and I'm sure you have yours.

Hitchin had a brought on a player who's job was to stop Patterson on Tuesday and, most of the time he did, by any means possible. He wasn't watching the ball, he watched the player. As soon as the player went passed him, he pulled, tugged, tried to trip...every trick in the book.

So, people can argue the toss about the nobility of sport but when points are at stake, some teams would rather use any means to get 'em.

Shame really....

Not really much of a sport though, is it? I can understand why the top teams in the Premiership (i.e. Man U., Arsenal, etc) do it as they are now purely motivated by money (I wrote a dissertation on this so yes, I think I do know what I'm writing), but at non-league level, surely this only shows them to be untalented and short of ideas.
