Simply not good enough,if we turn up and play like that at kingstonian saturday we will get tonked

60-70 hornchurch fans travelled up to see that game tonight and although we went in 1 down at half time there was nothing between the teams, but to then get the one man advantage and never look like doing anything is criminal

sorry, simply not good enough especially when you know how much better the team can play, thats why we have the hump

gutted

i cannot hide my dissapointment at that performance,to get beat by a better team is hard to take if you hate losing but you take it,to get beat like that is completely frustrating, once we went one down there was no fight,i could accept it maybe if we had had a hard season but its the end of august, its even harder knowing the level of passion the people in charge of the players have, they must be equally dissapointed as me

I will glorify this team and praise them when they play well but tonight was not one of those days

You're in for a hard season then. The commentators at the City game on Monday

said it would take their Meaga bucks stars 20 games to gel, so what chance we got?

It was very dissappointing last night, especially the 2nd half.

Best to look forward me thinks.

The boys know we will be behind them over the weekend.

The fans made all that effort to get there...some taking days leave...some losing out on wages...some spending £50+....and then the team serve up the biggest load of sh1t i've seen in a long while.....I back my team through thick and thin but when the team puts zero effort in like last night it makes me question my sanity.

to be fair I thought there were some decent performances - particularly thought Tommy Black had the beating of their defence and even at the end was still making some great runs.

too often though we relied on long ball football and were beaten in the air, and some of our passing was poor. i would have liked to seen their follically challenged keeper tested more often.

The ref was rubbish but still we could and will do much better.

Local's were friendly enough and Lowestoft as a place was one of the biggest dumps I have had the misfortune to suffer. No wonder they get decent gates - f*** all else to do.

Early days still - keep the faith

tbh its not that we lost its how bad we played and the fans were behind them for most of the game till the end. our first shot was in the 80th minute. you cant comment on the ref but every time we got to the box he blow for a free kick to them. the funny thing was then we should of had a pen (did not give it) and one of our players kicked it off one of their players for a conner and the ref goes you wanted the free kick now you have it. whats that all about?

I am not going to single any players out but ozz is right, not all are to blame

Also,I like Lowestoft, the area around the ground looked a bit shabby but it's no different from many grounds all over the country, there are parts of havering which are just as bad

I thought the ref was a joke but even if he wasn't we wouldn't of won

The locals were friendly and I would look forward to visiting them again,I just think Lowestoft controlled us and we didn't seem to have enough to get into the game

The reason why people are so annoyed is because they know the team can do better, much better

And that's the point. The potential is there, you could see that in the Colchester/West Ham/Cray games.

All teams get an off day - Hornchurch had one of those yesterday.

There were some good individual performances, but as a team we didn't click last night.

We do need to get that result out of our system as we've got another tough game coming up on Saturday - don't think the fixtures have been kind to us.

remember shocking days out at canvey, cray and kingstonian last season,it's par for the course in this division i'm afraid, although i did'nt go last nite i would'nt be alarmed over one game

Travelled 2 and a bit hours each way, lost out on a days wages, spent about £50, encouraged my team throughout the game.

And in return i get to watch a pile of [censored]. No effort at all. Tommy Black was the only player who looked threatning.

Not even any appreciation from the players at the end. (apart from Styles)

I wont bother next time

there were about 3 or 4 players clapping, should imagine they probably felt a bit embarrased

You dont see any other teams players clapping their fans at our gaff unless they have won,the cray players didbt clap their fans off on saturday

Would actually want them to be so p1ssed off with their performance that they didnt think about it.

As annoyed i was with the effort,it is only one game
