MATCH POSTPONED! - Who's going on Wednesday?

Well it looks like game was called off at 4:15pm so hopefully players were told before they started travelling. To be fair the rain has been persistently torrential though it would appear they have some issues with their pitch which will need to be sorted as a matter of urgency.

Yes... with an evening unexpectedly spare I decided to go and pay £10 to watch Cray v Carshalton... (we play Carshalton on Monday)... the players were splashing around by the start of the second half and referee had to call it off... although he waited until Cray were 2-0 up!

No one wants to call the game off but I think we did it early enough to avoid anyone travelling needlessly!

Fecking hell. only two games played this seson by the teams in the league, and already Margate is a game behind!!!

Don't fret mark-plenty of time to catch up.

You know we are not allowed to win games in FA cup or Trophy-so when other clubs are enjoying cup runs-we'll have plenty of spare saturdays if tradition ensues

Agreed Rambo Ram, even if our game had started no way would it have finished with all that rain we had during the evening. As said saved our team, directors and fans travelling up on a wasted journey.

Grrrrr if thats confirmed I will be in Wales for the Ryder Cup!

And I shall be out of town too - but at least I won't be bothering you on the Forum

Of course, FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round takes place on 25th I think so it may yet suffer from replays!

To be fair Croydon did make the right decision and at least nobody travelled. Its just that at 4.30 it stopped and there had not been the torrential rain (up to then ) that had been predicted. As for Alan surely you just need to travel up the M4 after the golf has finished and you can get two sports in the same day.
