Quiz Question

Quick question for y'all. A thread on the club 18-93 page has them 'looking forward to their first competitive game in the borough for eleven years'. I assume from this that they have forgotten about playing away to ETFC, so my question is, when was this competitive match that took place eleven years ago? Answers on a postcard please.

It's fair to say that the highlighting of the first league 'home' fixture for 1893 is surrounded by nothing more than spin and false facts. They even put up an 'Enfield FC' sign at the turnstiles which must breach trading standards as Enfield FC have ceased to exist. But we at Town will just move on, look forward to an intriguing season and a new home in 12 months.

going back to the question, It is 1893's 1st game in the borough.

Enfield FC's last competetive game in the borough was September 1999 (11 years ago) and if memory serves me correct was against Basingstoke Town

That may have been the last home game, (although I still think I'm right about a county cup game after the demolition) but I thought EFC's last competitive game in the borough was an away game against ETFC.
