Reading through todays programme

Got to the inside back cover regarding nonleague players................blood hit boiling point very quickly

 

Comments made about non league players just sums up the supporters of Man Utd, Spurs, Arsenal....and any other team when someone from Thanet says they support ONLY a Premiership club.

 

OK I support Fulham and have done since I was 4 in 1963 but I have always supported my home town club as well (sometimes even more so)

When you hear kids (mainly although not exclusive) say they support the top flight club..........without actually attending a game............it sums up the limited brain capacity of some people. I know several people....and that would include some of the BBC, ITV and Sky producers and UEFA and FIFA officials who think that football stops at the club 22nd in the Premiership.

 

Currently too much money is given to the likes of the bankrupt Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs (name a normal firm that would be allowed to keep trading with the debts the size of these clubs) only because of their sales image.

 

I would love it and I really mean I would celebrate big time if the likes of Man Utd or Liverpool (both owned by people that dont understand the game and have borrowed on the back of image) were to be relegated or better still closed down as would and has happened to non league clubs who cant live within their means......the list is too long but names like Telford, Hornchurch, Grays, Halifax come to mind plus Margate have been close on too many occasions.

 

 

 

So to those people who do NOT support you home town team but only a glory boy Premiership club.....................................I hope you have a sh#t season
