Tonights Game

Hi, just got back from the game and I wanted to know how everybody else thought we played. I personaly thought we did enough for a draw considering the amount of chances we had. The 2-0 scoreline was so flattering. As optimistic as I like to be I'm not sure how we will cope this season. The organisation wasn't really there. With Kettering and Aylesbury coming up its going to be tough old start but we definatley have the players to pull through.

I think high expectations are warranted, player for player but I guess they have to settle into the league a little as a team. Can't take too long over it mind. Its gonna be a hard one on Saturday but the players know what they have to do so lets hope they can do it.

although we had a lot of the possesion we never really looked like scoring, we seemed to want to long on the ball and at this level were not going to get that amount of time, teams like Hayes are old hands at conference football and so now exactly what to do and when to do it. at the moment i think we need to look at changing our system from the present 4-4-2 it's just working.

So...what went wrong????another game when we should have least got a draw but again were more than flat footed and back to thw Wimbledon touch!!! hoof it up the field and hope & pray? When we do play it on the ground...we play good footie. I also think 4 4 2 is not working for us!

Westies seem to play better at the back, our defence needs to quicken & tighten up, the midfield needs to battle more and support our front men...Otherwise winning will be damn hard!
