Why EFM are great...

• We put a shtload of cash behind the bar on matchdays
• We make friends on here with fans of other clubs (Canvey, Chesham, Bedford, Bonechapel etc.) thereby enhancing the club's image in Ryman League circles
• We are all loyal to one another and stand up for ourselves and each other

Without EFM tonight would be like going to a funeral, but not as much fun.

We are fun and the kids at the club love us!

Without EFM, none of those kids who come to the club would bother. We make the club loads of money through the gate. We're the entertainment the kids are looking for - not what goes on on the pitch.

Last season, we won our first seven games, all of which EFM went to.

 

Then, on September 14th, I got married, Saints played a crap Hitchin team at home without any EFM support, and we lost 0-1.

A few years ago when the players were all good blokes - the manager used to say in the paper all the time how much the singing lifts the team!

We used to have such a good, friendly bunch of players... Turns, Robbie Haworth, Ashley Vickers, Matt Jones, Tubbsy. Real top lads.

 

Previous managers (Kevin Mudd, John Kendall, Gary Roberts) all loved EFM. They realised our importance to the club.

you should try the full moon at Harwich, my personal fave at the minute. There's no place nicer on a summer's day.

not that Harwich, the one on the outskirts of town, just go through the vale for about 2 miles till you get to Harwich Common. When I'm rich I am going to get a house out that way, again that's in the 10 years + category.

I think the pub is actually in Cholesbury which is little further out. Opposite the cricket pitch if I'm not mistaken. I've not actually been in the pub there, but I'll give it a go next time around that way.

EFM were here when the tree was here.

 

EFM are here, through thick and thin, beating Aylesbury twice on the same day in pouring rain and freezing conditions, losing to FGR, beating Sudbury.

 

EFM bring character to this club. EFM bring banter. EFM bring good times on the terraces. EFM brings power.

 

EFM knows the right people in the right places.

Trouble is GHA, you shouldnt be in it so shut up you stupid bum! Trouble is, the team needs singing all the time, rather than the odd moment. EFM bring more of an atmosphere to Clarence Park. It would be and is so dull when they are not there.
