chertsey1-0 hanworth villa

certainly chertseys toughest assignment of the season agaisnt a very solid and well organised hanworth villa side. but to win titles chertsey need to win these sorts of games and last season we were not.

the game was settled by an absolute belter by ollie treacher (whitley bay like) as chertsey kept up there 100% record to the start of the season. chertsey started the game in there normal attacking self and always looked to open the the scoring early, but hanworth villa also had there chances and caused the chertsey defence plenty of problems. it took untill late in the first half for chertsey to score, ollie treacher picked the ball up 40 yards out dribbled into open space and unleashed a screamer from 30yards which rocketed into the top corner to give the keeper no chance. the second half was a totally different affair with hanworth villa pressing more than there hosts to try and equalise and chertsey in particular simon cox and jack francis having to defend for there lives which they done to perfection. only a fantastic stop from craig bradshaw in the chertsey goal kept chertsey in the lead, plenty of chances fell to both teams and chertsey always looked to double there lead but in the end some dogged defending and great pressure from baxter, moody and rouco in particular earned chertsey a valuable 3points and left hanworth dissapointed they didnt take a point from a game they certainly could have!

Staines Lammas 1 Eversley 3

Lammas 1-3 Eversley

A poor performance from our boys, but beaten by a good Eversley side, we had a few 1 on 1s in the first half which we should of taken and might have gone a few up, Eversley went 1 up with an absolute Worldy, prob best goal ive seen in non- league!!! We equalised threw a Penalty before half time. Second half Eversley took control with 2 early goals, after that we created little and found it hard to score, this was my worry about moving to Ashford, new ground gonna take little while to get used too but we better hurry up because we got Knaphill saturday and there not gonna be mucking about!!

Three Bridges 4 v 1 Cove.Cove crashed out of the F.A. Cup after 2 howling mistakes, and a Worldy but flukey cross that ended up beating the Cove keeper all ends up.You cannot give sides 2 goals start at this level. The other 2 goals, one a piece were well created, and finished well.On what I saw Cove definitely need a Keeper,or maybe he had an off night.Met J.J. before the game and had a chat,he personally had a good game, and is a good constructive skipper, who talks nearly as much as me.MUST ADD PLAYING SURFACE WAS BEST I HAVE SEEN THIS YEAR.

Wasnt feisty think the ref jus lost control early doors an produced weak yellow cards then had to let worse tackles go !! Bedfont into a two goal lead early doors paul timba with a brace then hartley missed a pen

2nd half backs to the wall hartley hit bar twice an got a goal with a quick free kick after that was jus a battle hartley play some descent stuff think therell do well jus a stuttering start!!

Bookham 0-4 Camberley.

Comprehensive win for Cambo and could and should have been more. Bookham keeper made some good saves. Will have brief highlights tomorrow.

TC - on another note, you may like to know that tonight's ref at Dons v Histon was Warren Atkin. He awarded us a 90th minute penalty (with the score 0-0), so is OK in my book!

Farnborough North End 0-0 Knaphill

How we didn't win is beyond me. Plenty of attacking from Knaphill, quick breaks from FNE, played @ 100mph. The Knappers had the ball in the net, but was called offside, as were many attacks. Almost all one way traffic in the second half, but couldn't get the winner. Good hospitality at half time for the Knappers Committee (in force) and my boy. Had to get home earlier so can't comment on after match.

COME ON YOU KNAPPERS!!!!!

Wembley 0 Egham Town 4

Egham played well against a skilful Wembley side. 1-0 up when the keeper punched Matt Grave's corner straight to John Pomroy, who controlled it and then smacked it in from the edge of the box. 2-0 after handball in the area, and Matt Grave's twice taken penalty (keeper moved off his line).3-0 Charlie Muldowney solo slalom round flatfooted defenders and a cracking finish. 4-0 Jamie Houghton wallop that diverted off a Wembley defender. Main talking point though was the sending off of the Wembley 10 and Town's Adam Foulser, ten minutes into the second half, with the score 1-0.. Foulser had gone for a tackle in the middle of the pitch, Wembley whined as they always do, Foulser stood up and was decked by the 10 with a cowardly blow to the back of his head and the ref, after long consultation with this assistants, sent both off. The extra space suited us though, with us scoring three times more.

I wonder if "Sarnie Supporter" was there?
