Westfield Ground Problems

Just a suggestion,if Westfield will not be able to entertain Warlingham this coming Saturday, there is an odd side in Div1 without a game, maybe they could host Warlingham if an early decision is made.Whitelaw probably on the case as I speak.Westfield could be given the week off.

Just dawned on me,have Knaphill got same Contractors doing their Lights and Stand,as Westfield had for their alterations.Could be a delay in completition,Woking Council have shut 2 day centres due to the recession, but Football is more of a priority down Woking way.Croydon Council is totally the opposite,it loves us Old Codgers.

Forget the above idea, Worcester Park the vacant side this week, and we all know they do not play at home whilst Cricket Season in full swing, part of the Covenant on the Ground.Tucks looks like weekend off for your boys.So much for Match Fitness and preparation eh!!!

:What they should do is postpone war res v westfield res and bring westfield ones to play at verdayne. or play them both at verdayne, 1 & 3 or 2 & 4 o clock :brille008:

back in the uk now so apologies for lack of info on this.

Since Tue the contractors have been working non stop on the the pitch, A decesion will be made at 5pm today but at the mo the club are hopeful the game will go ahead. Obviously the safety of the players is key so if the pitch isnt right no risks will be taken

After speaking with Westfield yesterday I am confident the game will go ahead. They have promoted as their family day and fingers crossed all wil be well.
