I was absolutely disgusted, sorry, revolted to read about the goings on with One Show co host Jason Manford, I gather that he has at least done the decent thing and walked away from the beleaguered show with immediate effect, there is a book at William Hill on who his successor is likely to be, who is your money on:

Congratulations to the likeable Matt Baker for becoming the new co-host of the One Show alongside Alex Jones. The married 32 year old and ex-Blue Peter host has reluctantly quit his popular role as Countryfile presenter but will go far with the BBC particularly following his success on Strictly Come Dancing although, sadly, he will now be forced to drop out of next year's eagerly awaited Strictly tour.

I see that Alex Jones is one of the contestants in Strictly Come Dancing 2011 which kicks off this weekend, I have to say that, despite her accent, I have warmed to her of late particularly after seeing the picture below to promote her participation in the dancing extravaganza where she could do well:
