God forgive-i hope not.

Another past their sell by date/jobs for the boys.

 

Shaun welford would do nicely though

 

I wonder if this new striker will be in addition to the likes of Ishmail (and possibly waugh)-or instead of.

 

I hope Ishmail is signed regardless

Not sure if it actually answers the question of :

 

a) has Ishmail actually signed (being offered and confirmation of signing are often miles apart)

 

Is ishmail the new striker-or is there another striker on the horizon in addition to Ishmail.

 

 

Does the fact that Ishmail has been playing in sweden tell us more about who he actually is ?

Interesting, and appreciate the heads up on the new striker news. But, is it Ismail or a.n.other? Both would be ideal!

who seems to be able to score a goal every 2 games in competitive football-that'll do for me.

Ona different note-i read that IOC makes comment about the wing backs getting upfield-too much ?

Always a` dodgy position to me wing back at this level-as they get caught in no mans land-neither defending or attacking.

Hopefully -after saturday-IOC will discourage them from to many forays into attack-primary function surely of the wing back is to defend -don't concede the nil-and then you only need score one goal to win

We haven't got the likes of Eliot Martin or Greg Oates any more, so I agree that wing backs would leave us rather exposed. The problem is, where does the width come from when we attack? It's all very well saying be strong in the middle, but what if the opposition also pack the middle? We will need north of 65 goals if we are to have a good season. It's no conincidence that the last time we were half-decent was when we had Jimmy Jackson.

I was assuming (never a good thing to do I know) that the new striker would be one that hasn't been associated with our club this season so far. Ismail I am hoping is our 1st striker to sign.

Maybe Akhazzan or Bradbrooke from Sittingbourne,or even BOTH would be nice.Two goalscoring machines in their league & surely ready for a step up.

Going back to Ismail / Ishmail / Ishmael - I wondered whether it could be Ishmail Kamara but the photo doesn't look like him to me.

 

Looks quite similar to me Jeff. Trialled with Brighton at the back end of last season it seems.

Pleased if waugh has signed-does seem a genuine goalpoacher.

I reckon the 'main striker 'who we are waiting on is Ishmail though-and no-one else.

 

I'm happy with that-

 

Just hope ismail does agree to sign.
