With holmesdale a 5 min jouirney for me was going to go and watch greenwich v south park in the fa cup.I n the end I didnt go and from what I hear The FA will be investigating what happened att the end of the game!!

just a bit! beer and boys dont mix! second hand info as I wasnt there but it dont sound good for both sides.

As a neutral fan on the day I have to agree with the report above from Kentish Football. I will also add that the whole incident was instigated by the South Park supporters (I use the word supporters lightly because it did seem that they were 'tag-alongs' and not true fans of the club). My friend and I were eye-balled up and down as we got off the bus which stopped near the local pub and were sneered at as we walked past them to the ground. During the first half I stood no more than a few yards away from one of South Park's 'supporter' who spent a lot of time goading the Borough players, at one time I remember him shouting, 'keeper, keeper, goalkeeper, you ugly c**t. Unfortunately this chap then decided to get involved in the post match melee and got stamped on his head for his troubles. What goes around comes around. I don't agree that the 'lone' Borough fan's actions were correct but he did have every right to defend himself when surrounded by 20 or so travelling supporters. I hope both teams get what the deserve and are banned from FA competitions for a very long time.

Eye Witness what a load of tosh you have just written,where you really there I ask myself.Or are you Tinted glasses in disguise.Headbutting by so called supporter after being called A FAT KENT by a South Park supporter gets no mention by you in your report or the Kentish Times.I personally walked across the P itch at the end as did many others.Too find the Officials being verbally abused by the so called supporter,no violence to that point had occurred.I suggest that if the Referee who was poor but to both sides,had awarded Greenwich a stonewall penalty in the last minute, and the game had been drawn.The bar would of been heaving and made Holmesdale a small fortune.South Park supporters were abusive to players of Greenwich in the first half and I did complain,2nd half not a peep,no racist comments were ever mentioned.A BAD DAY FOR FOOTBALL INDEED,EYE WITNESS DOES YOUR OWN SHADOW FRIGHTEN YOU,al that toshh about walking past the Pub,you must go to bed early.BOO p.s.Stamping on head by Greenwich Player,you are NEUTRAL EYE WITNESS remember or are you?The only thing that goes around that comes around is a ROUNDABOUT. NO club can be Defended.

Well, you have your opinion on the matter Smudge but as a neutral fan I gave a neutral view based upon what I witnessed, maybe I did not see or hear everything that you did, that is whay we have a discussion forum it helps iron out the true facts. One way or another anyway.

 

Also, I find your post very aggressive, hope you were not one of those involved in the melee?

I only comment on things i see, so as i was in the changing trying to enjoy a great result i cant comment on what happened after. All i will say is, that the report on the Kentish website is........what can i say......more fiction than fact.

Being a complete neutral and having read the press report twice, I can only say that on the face of it, there will definitely have to be a full F.A. investigation into the ALLEGATIONS.

 

There are certainy a lot of very serious issues here.

 

I can see that possibly, there might be heavy fines in the post at a later date.

The press report taints by it's Headline South Park,but the real cause of the trouble was not them.Hope the Officials DO NOT BOTTLE there report,to the F.A.. like they did every decision on the Pitch.It was a cracking Cup Tie Football wise though,thoroughly enjoyed it,South Park deserved winners on the day.But Football in General a big loser.
