The Rules

1) The Object of the Competition

Just predict what the Ryman Premier League will look like at the end of the season.

So there is an even chance for everyone, after 21 Margate games you will be able to predict again.

Points are allocated for the difference between your pridiction & the actual position of every every team, so (for example) if you predict Margate to finish 1st & they are 1st you get 0 points. If you predict Margate to finish 1st & they are 22nd you get 21points. This applies to all 22 teams, the object is to be the scorer of the lowest number of points.

After 21 games your second set of predictions will be added to your first set of predictions. The winner is the scorer of the lowest accumulated number of points.

2) The competion starts at 3pm Saturday 21st August

Entries received after that time will not be valid.

3) After 21 games you will be asked to to predict again.

I will send a message to all requesting a second set of predictions, stating the time by which these must reach me. If I don't receive your second set you will not take any further part in the competition.

4) Progress reports

After 3 Margate games (28th August) I will publish the up-to date League table, I will also publish regular updates after every Margate game.

5) The contest is open to any Fan (not just Margate fans).

The Contest is run through a Margate Forum, but is open to fans of any team.

HAVE FUN & ENJOY THE COMPETITION

New Prize - thanks to Michael & Pagey

Last season Michael won a prize on this competition, £100 bar tab at The Hartsdown bar courtesy of Pagey. Not being a local resident, Michael feels he is unable to take advantage of this prize.

So it has been donated as a prize in this seasons competition!

At the end of stage one of this years competition(after 21 games) there are two prizes for the

leaders of the competition.

1) £100 bar tab for the highest placed MARGATE supporter in the Prediction League.

2) £2 per entrant (currently £40) for the highest placed Prediction League player after the above prize has been allocated).

The 21st League match should be in December, so a £100 bar tab might come in handy around the Christmas / New Year festive celebrations

There are only a few days before the season begins, if you have not got your predictions in yet NOW is a good time to do so.
