Rod Stringer predictions

I was reading in the NLP today an article by Rod Stringer, manager of Braintree. His favourites are Sutton (no surprise there) and Croydon. He also rates Tonbridge and as outsiders Kingstonian, Wealdstone, Hornchurch, Horsham and Maidstone. In fact he mentions a lot of teams apart from Billericay. I wonder why he does not mention Billericay as our pre season has been good, but given our opening fixtures, if he is right we may have another poor start.

He doesn't like Billericay - FACT. Anyone who saw his interview after we beat them 2 - 0 at the end of last season would draw that conclusion.

Then again, who cares if he doesn't mention Billericay? This pre season we have gone about our business quietly, with no fan fare. When we did that previously we had quite good seasons. Let others hvae their expectations high lighted and let us be the surprise package of the season.

Maidstone as outsiders seems to be a strange choice, especially after their pre-season...
